Moving water can have a huge effect on your pleasure during your diving. Adequate training is crucial to properly dealing with the different water movements you may encounter. You will learn to deal with waves when entering the coast and how you can best react in current and other water conditions.
Have you ever dreamed of letting you sail through the stream and at the same time looking for sharks and dolphins?
A good training for current dives is very important in this type of experience and that is why SSI Waves, Tides & Currents is a 'must' for every ambitious diver.
Anyone who wants to go on vacation at top spots sooner or later has to deal with currents. That can be the waves if you go into the water from the shore, the mouse flow in a channel next to an island or just the current during a dive.
Divers can also come into contact with various types of water movement in some freshwater areas. Anyway, drift diving is a fascinating experience; you can "float" along drop-offs or reefs without getting tired.
But what if the current blows against the diver ... How much current can a diver have? How does the diver move efficiently in the flow? How can someone determine the power of a current and plan the dives on it? Waves, Tides & Currents is given in combination with at least 2 open water dives where you apply all knowledge and techniques in open water conditions.
